# Platform API v2 - March 2026

We’re pleased to announce Calico Platform API v2. This new version has several improvements in the developer experience:

### What’s new
- **Pagination:** We’ve added [pagination](/pagination) to our Assets and Transactions responses to make it easier to process large amounts of data. Please refer to the new [Pagination](/pagination) guide for more details.
- **Versioning guide:** Our new [versioning guide](/versioning) outlines what to expect with breaking and non-breaking updates to Calico APIs. 

### What’s better
- **Normalized responses:** We’ve normalized naming conventions and timestamp formats. This allows for faster integration by removing inconsistency in requests and responses.
- **Data model:** We’ve updated all responses to use the same data model. This means developers know what to expect in a response, no matter the endpoint.
